How Are Under-Eye Injections Delivered?

Dr. Bachilo typically uses different types of dermal filler injections to add definition and volume to specific areas around the eye sockets to achieve the desired results. While the procedure for injecting dermal fillers into the under-eye area is not especially painful, the treatment site may become red, sore, and/or swollen for a few hours following treatment. Dr. Bachilo recommends alleviating discomfort by applying ice packs to the treatment area and taking non-prescription pain medication such as Tylenol, beginning right after treatment. Also, avoid rubbing or excessively touching the area around the eyes over the course of several days following treatment.
