What Is Y Lift?

The Y Lift® is a non-surgical facelift that restores the youthful shape and structure of the face and is performed using only dermal fillers.

How Does the Y Lift Work?

Over time, due to the aging process, the hard tissue within the facial structure, such as the cheekbones and jawbones, begins to shrink, causing the soft tissue such as fat and skin to sag. This process gradually alters the shape of the face and produces a more lax and aged facial appearance.

The Y Lift® procedure instantly rejuvenates the facial structure through Structural Volumizing™ or restoring lost volume and definition to the maxilla and mandible (upper and lower jaw) to restore the original shape of the face.

How Is Y Lift Performed?

Described by Dr. Mehmet Oz on the Doctor Oz show as the “30-Minute Miracle Facelift,” the Y Lift® procedure is a safe and quick procedure that takes between 15 to 30 minutes to complete and requires no downtime or recovery period. The procedure is typically performed using local anesthesia.

A patented device known as the flexY guide®, designed to be anatomically accurate and created specifically for the Y Lift® procedure, is used to precisely locate the leading edges of these crucial bones to enhance their structure by replacing them with the lost volume of youth.

The Y Lift is referred to as the Closed Facelift because the filler is delivered to the leading edges of the maxilla and mandible within an enclosed space. To achieve this, a titanium instrument is used to gently lift the muscle tissue from the bone so that the filler may be injected in the enclosed pocket of space underneath it to support the muscle in its new, higher location.
