Restylane is an injectable gel made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance produced in our own skin cells to attract and retain moisture. As we age, skin cells reduce their production of HA, causing the skin to lose its natural youthful hydration, resulting in wrinkles, creases, folds, and lines in the skin.
Restylane nourishes thirsty skin cells underneath the skin’s surface with moisture-attracting HA to trigger increased hydration, making cells plumper and fuller, and smoothing out lines, creases, wrinkles, and folds in the process.

Restylane successfully smoothes away lines and wrinkles in the face, including crow’s feet, laugh lines, frown lines, marionette lines, and vertical smoker’s lines around the mouth. Restylane also makes formulations designed to correct sagging skin and wrinkles around the eyes, as well as sunken cheeks, lost lip volume and definition, and sagging skin in the chin and jaw.
Dr. Bachilo will work closely with you to determine the best filler for your cosmetic concerns.
Restylane is minimally invasive and less costly than plastic surgery. You can also combine your Restylane treatments with other dermal injections, or with other cosmetic procedures to provide more dramatic results.
Restylane is a safe, simple treatment that usually takes under an hour to perform. The gel formula is made from plant-sourced, natural ingredients that are biocompatible with the human body, reducing any risk of allergic reaction. Over time, Restylane treatments continue to improve the skin’s texture, as skin cells become more hydrated and healthy. Restylane provides dramatic natural-looking results that can last up to a year, with no downtime.
