Risks and Contraindications

Revanesse Versa is specifically designed and formulated for use by adults over the age of 22 and is not approved for use by patients younger than this. If you have any infection, inflammation, or other skin condition, it is advised that you postpone Versa injections until the condition subsides. Additionally, if you have received another dermal filler injection in the past several months, please advise Dr. Bachilo, as your treatment may have to be postponed until enough time has passed since your last injections.

Revanesse Versa should not be used in conjunction with a laser, intense pulsed light, chemical peels, or dermabrasion treatments, and over-the-counter (OTC) or prescription anti-wrinkle products should be avoided for 4 weeks before your Versa treatment to prevent possible interactions and the possibility of inflammation at the treatment site. If your skin tends to form keloid scars, Versa may not be the most suitable treatment option for you.
