Rosacea Symptoms
Frequently we see patients at our Houston area practice who come in with Rosacea, a condition consisting of dilated blood vessels, which typically appears on the face, generally along the cheeks and mid-face region, and other related conditions. These conditions, characterized by an excess of blood flow to blood vessels in the treatment site, include the following:
- Rosacea
- Dilated blood vessels anywhere on the face or body
- Red spots on the face and body
- Cherry angiomas
- Dilated blood vessels around nose
IPL Photofacial (Photorejuvenation)
The IPL Photofacial is excellent for treating conditions of dilated blood vessels on the skin’s surface, using intense pulsating light beams to lift away the skin’s outermost layer, which also removes surface marks and imperfections. The treatment also produces increased collagen production, which results in a gradual improvement of the facial tone and texture that continues for several weeks after the initial treatment.
Nanofractional RF Skin Resurfacing
This treatment performed using the Venus Viva™ system employs advanced radiofrequency technology to gently lift away the outermost layer of the skin and any imperfections that it contains. RF Skin Resurfacing also promotes increased collagen production, which means that you’ll see a continual improvement in your skin’s overall tone and firmness in the weeks following treatment.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a gentle and effective way to peel away surface skin imperfections such as patches of Rosacea and other collapsed or dilated blood vessels in the skin.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a gentle exfoliation treatment that scrapes away the skin’s surface layer using a very precise scraping instrument, encouraging increased collagen production, and exposing the growth of new, healthy skin cells. Microdermabrasion treatment improves the skin’s tone and texture, enhancing smoothness and imparting radiance.
SPF Sun Protection
We make it a point to educate all our patients after any skin resurfacing treatment or chemical peel to teach them the importance of protecting their skin from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays as effectively as possible.
We take pride in providing for our patients a line of professional pharmaceutical-grade skin care products, including sunscreen and sun protection products to protect your skin from damage while undergoing treatment for conditions such as rosacea and dilated blood vessels that make your skin more vulnerable to photodamage.
