BodyTite in Houston, TX
HOW IT WORKS
WHAT TO EXPECT
What Is BodyTite?
BodyTite is a minimally invasive FDA-approved body contouring and fat reduction procedure that uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to create custom body sculpting, fat reduction and skin tightening. BodyTite simultaneously melts away fat and tightens skin in such specific problem areas as the abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, arms, and back. BodyTite is a simple and customized procedure that may be performed using local anesthesia, mild sedation, or general anesthesia, depending upon the extent of treatment.
If you’re looking for the most advanced body sculpting, fat reduction, and skin tightening treatment in Houston, you’re in for good news! BodyTite is a non-invasive lipo treatment that could be considered a non-surgical tummy tuck, or an alternative to liposuction for men and women, provided for residents of Sugar Land, Katy, and the greater Houston area at Glamour Plastic Surgery and Med Spa and performed by the highly skilled and reputable plastic surgeon, Dr. Olga Bachilo.
BodyTite RFAL Technology: How It Works
BodyTite is the first procedure designed to break down fatty deposits in troublesome problem areas by heating dermal tissue from above as well as from within, achieving more consistent and comprehensive results.
A BodyTite treatment is performed using a unique device that delivers radiofrequency energy to target areas from both an internal probe and an external electrode simultaneously. The internal probe is inserted into the treatment area through a miniscule incision, and when both the electrode and internal probe are applied to the treatment area, they jointly and precisely heat adipose tissue as well as superficial fatty tissue beneath the skin. The device relies on a built-in thermo-regulating mechanism that delivers precisely the correct temperature to achieve this, without damaging the skin.
Because BodyTite may be combined with liposuction, since both procedures may be performed using the same tiny incisions, and extracted fat cells may be used in a fat grafting procedure to increase volume in some other area of the face or body such as the breasts, cheekbones, or buttocks. At your initial consultation, Dr. Bachilo may recommend combining BodyTite with one or more additional procedures to achieve more comprehensive results.
What to Expect After BodyTite Treatment
BodyTite treatment may produce soreness in the treatment area, causing discomfort when walking or making certain movements, but these symptoms typically resolve themselves within a few hours, and over-the-counter pain medication is usually enough to manage any discomfort. Some patients may also experience minor swelling and bruising or redness, as well as tenderness in the treatment area when the skin is touched. The skin will not appear totally smooth for several weeks following treatment, as it takes a while for fat cells to spread out more evenly after treatment.
Full recovery may take several days, depending on the extent of treatment. Smaller areas may recover within several days, while larger areas such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, and buttocks may require 10 days or so to recover fully.
While you will see immediate fat reduction after a BodyTite treatment, body contouring and skin tightening improve gradually as collagen production increases as a result of the treatment. Typically, full results appear between 6 and 12 months after treatment.
