VI Peel in Houston, TX
HOW IT WORKS
What We Offer
Does your aging skin need some revitalization to feel smooth and firm again? The VI Peel is a specialized skin care treatment that provides dramatic rejuvenation to facial skin without the need for surgery or dermal injections. In just seven days, the VI Peel can uncover glowing new skin to take years off your facial appearance and restore your skin’s smoothness, elasticity, and radiance.
How Does the VI Peel Work to Treat Aging Skin?
The VI Peel is designed to gently lift off the skin’s outermost layer, along with the dulling debris and dead skin cells that can mar the appearance of your facial skin. The peel works to lift away impurities and debris that dull the skin’s natural radiance through specific plant-based acids. Once the peel is applied, it takes about seven days for the outer layer of skin to peel off naturally, revealing a healthy and glowing layer of new skin cells. The VI Peel also diminishes the appearance of uneven pigmentation, age spots, freckles, acne scars, lines, and wrinkles, as well as other minor imperfections found on the skin’s surface layer.
This peel is formulated using a powerful synergistic blend of nourishing ingredients, suitable for all skin types, and improves skin tone, texture, and clarity. In addition, it provides excellent anti-aging benefits such as skin tightening and diminishing the appearance of fine lines on the skin’s surface. The peel is also formulated to protect your skin from future damage—an ideal peel for younger skin and those who are new to chemical peels.
VI Peel with Precision
Precision is a performance booster that may be added to any VI Peel. Precision enhances the effects of any VI peel by adding a different concentration of the same synergistic ingredient combination as a regular VI Peel. This higher concentration makes the peel slightly more abrasive and produces more comprehensive effects.
VI Peel Purify
The VI Peel Purify is a medium-depth peel formulated to treat active acne, teen acne, skin prone to breakouts, and oily and congested skin. This unique formulation encourages cellular turnover to clear out clogged pores and reduce the buildup of oil and surface impurities on the skin while treating acne-causing bacteria and inflammation.
VI Peel Purify with Precision Plus
VI Peel Purify with Precision Plus is the most comprehensive formulation in the VI Peel collection for treating acne, including adult acne and scarring left behind by breakouts. This medium-depth peel features a synergistic combination of ingredients that clear away acne while fading sun spots, discoloration, and other imperfections on the skin’s surface. This peel also treats scars and Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) caused by acne breakouts, oily skin, and enlarged pores.
VI Peel with Precision Plus
Enhancing the VI Peel with Precision Plus makes it an ideal formula for treating hyperpigmentation, sun spots, and uneven skin tone, as this formula includes a Lighten Booster as well as a Brightening Booster that dramatically improves skin tone by lifting away dull, damaged skin cells from the surface of the skin. As a result, the VI Peel with Precision Plus effectively suppresses melanogenesis and encourages increased cell turnover, leading to brighter, smoother, and more vibrant skin. This medium-depth peel is ideal for treating photodamage, melasma, and PIH, and is safe for use on all skin types.

Can the VI Peel be combined with other treatments?
Yes. To further enhance your skin’s health and appearance, patients may combine the VI peel with other treatments such as dermal fillers. If you choose to undergo plastic surgery, such as a facelift, you may undergo VI Peels once your skin has fully healed from the surgery.
Why is the VI Peel only available through licensed physicians?
The VI Peel is a powerful treatment that should not be attempted by patients at home on their own, as the application requires training and precision and is best performed under the supervision of a licensed medical professional. VI Peels are available only through practitioner offices and licensed clinical facilities, and the manufacturer of the VI Peel does not support or condone its sale via any commercial sites.
How often can I have the VI Peel done?
The VI Peel can often be done every 2 weeks, if necessary, to treat pigmentation and scarring. Once desired results are achieved, the peel can be done every 3-4 months as maintenance.
Will the VI Peel help with acne scarring?
The VI Peel accelerates exfoliation, removes many layers of skin, and smooths out depressed scarring.
Does the VI Peel procedure hurt?
Initially, when the peel solution is applied, it is normal for the skin to feel tingly, itchy, and hot. However, there is an ingredient called Phenol that helps to numb the skin on the first pass.
Does the VI Peel treat sun damage?
The VI Peel works on a cellular level to attack the melanocytes that makeup pigmentation, and through the process of accelerated exfoliation, the pigment is lifted and sloughed away.
Can I wear makeup after peel?
Makeup may be worn the day after the peel but should not be applied when the skin is peeling.
When can I work out after the peel?
The solution needs to be on the skin for at least 5 hours before exercising. However, sweating may cause discomfort and irritation.
Are there any specific products that need to be used after the peel?
Every VI Peel has a take-home kit containing all of the products needed to care for your skin post peel.
How long will my skin peel?
Peeling may start around day 2 or 3 and resume up to 10 days, typically around 7 days.
Can I have the VI Peel if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
While there are no conclusive studies that show the negative effects of chemical peels on pregnant and breastfeeding women, the FDA does recommend that pregnant and breastfeeding women avoid ingredients such as hydroquinone, salicylic acid, and retinoids.
What skin types are good candidates for the VI Peel?
The VI Peel is great for all skin types, from dry to oily and light to dark skin tones, without any prior preparation.
