How Are Cheek Fillers Administered?

Before the procedure, Dr. Bachilo will apply a topical numbing agent to the treatment area to prepare the skin so that you won’t feel any discomfort during the treatments. Next, Dr. Bachilo will help you determine the ideal combination of injections for you based on your skin type, condition, and aesthetic goals. In most cases. Dr. Bachilo will use a strategic combination of various dermal fillers to add volume, firmness, and definition to the mid-face region to sculpt natural-looking cheekbones and a smoother, more contoured facial appearance.

Although patients typically do not describe the procedure as painful, minor symptoms such as temporary swelling, redness, and soreness may persist at the treatment site for several hours immediately following the treatment. Therefore, we recommend applying ice packs to the area and taking Tylenol to alleviate any residual discomfort after the topical anesthesia wears off. In addition, it is important that you avoid rubbing the skin or wearing makeup for several days and avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and air pollution.

I really love this practice, Dr. Bachilo and her esthetician Eva Rotmann are very personable. Feels more like visiting with a friend in the way they provide care. Easy location right off 610 and free covered parking and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. When they offer a cappuccino during your visit, accept as it is stellar. With just one syringe of filler placed in multiple strategic spots, Dr. Bachilo made a dramatic improvement which reduced jowling and even minimized neck sag. I also had botulinum at the same time, with absolutely no bruising from either.
